Seminary-level teaching brought to your local New England church

We believe that as leaders and lay people in the local church are equipped (Ephesians 4), churches will thrive. Thriving In Ministry is committed to bringing seminary classes into local church contexts so that you can be better equipped to serve and lead. These courses will be offered in area churches in two, two-day intensives starting in September 2019. See below for current course offerings.

The following courses will be offered in the local church:

Old Testament Survey

New Testament Survey

Introduction to Theology

Introduction to Church History

Evangelism and Discipleship in the Local Church

Transforming Leadership in the Local Church

Church Revitalization

Conflict Management

Lay leaders can participate in these courses in one of the following two ways:

Option 1:  For those who wish to enrich their understanding of ways to grow and flourish in ministry we will offer up to 8 courses you can audit for only $100 each.

Option 2:  For those lay leaders and pastors who want to go deeper we will offer a Certificate in Ministry Leadership. Each course will cost $250 and each student will read three books during the semester and design a curriculum to teach what they are learning in their local church. Those seeking to earn a Certificate will need to complete 6 of the 8 courses.
